As social media apps become hyper-optimized for the best title, thumbnail, and social proof, I've found a new appreciation for the genuine, insightful conversations that happen in podcasts.

Finding a podcast episode relevant to your business often means searching across shows, scanning descriptions, and listening long enough to figure out whether it applies to you. An episode's title rarely tells you whether it will be useful for what you're building, who you're catering to, or where you are in this long journey. The most relevant conversation might be in a show you've never heard of, published years ago.

Podcasts and interviews remain one of the last havens for candid conversations we wouldn't otherwise hear. That's why I built Visor: to help founders surface the best conversations from founders and operators across industries.

Before releasing Visor to the public, I gave it to peers including YC founders, indie app developers, and executives of Series A companies. Many hadn't made podcasts part of their routine before using Visor, and seeing them embrace podcast listening through the app has furthered my conviction that Visor can make podcasts an integral part of how founders gain inspiration for their next great idea.
